Morgan, Elliott Win Three Individual Events Each for the Shoremen
CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Senior Lucas Morgan (Allendale, N.J./Northern Highlands Regional) and junior Pat Elliott (Media, Pa./Salesianum School [Del.]) each won three individual events as the host Washington College men's swim team rolled past visiting Swarthmore, 121-84, in a much-anticipated meet between the Centennial Conference's two unbeaten teams. The Shoremen improved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in conference meets with the win, while the Garnet fell to 4-1 and 3-1 with the loss.

How It Happened
- Morgan won the 1000 freestyle in 10:02.54, the 200 individual medley in 1:57.89, and the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.03. Elliott captured the 200 freestyle in 1:45.61, the 100 freestyle in 48.85, and the 500 freestyle in 5:01.46.
- The Shoremen also won the 200 freestyle relay as Cody Weiler, DJ Bradshaw, Kevin Mackenzie, and Brent Longenecker placed first in a Casey Swim Center record time of 1:28.67.
- Ty Cummings turned in a second-place time of 52.82 in the 100 butterfly that bettered his own standing as the Shoremen's seventh-fastest swimmer ever in that event.
- Finny Dorsch placed second in 1000 freestyle in 10:42.15 and Jason Mercando took second in the 200 freestyle in 1:49.38. Weiler added a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle in 21.84, while Charles Logan placed second in the 100 backstroke in 54.44.
Notes
- The dual-meet victory for the Shoremen was their 14th in a row overall, dating back to November 2014. They have won every dual meet during the streak by at least 32 points.
