Elliott Wins Two Individual Events for Shoremen in Loss
LANCASTER, Pa. — The host Franklin & Marshall men's swim team won nine of 14 events en route to a 157-105 Centennial Conference victory over visiting Washington College this afternoon in the season opener for both teams.

Shoremen Highlights
- Pat Elliott had a pair of first-place finishes in the loss, taking the 1000 freestyle in 10:22.06 and the 500 freestyle in 4:59.22. He was also second in the 200 backstroke in 1:59.82.
- Brent Hochstein won the 200 butterfly in 2:03.45, Kevin Mackenzie paced the 100 freestyle in 49.54, and Teague Sauter won the 200 breaststroke in 2:16.88.
- Brendan Jones placed second in the 200 individual medley in 2:03.52. He also became the Shoremen's eighth-fastest swimmer ever in the 1000 freestyle with his third-place time of 10:27.24.
- Aidan Sullivan added a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke in 55.79, while Cody Weiler was second in the 50 freestyle in 22.34.

- The loss snapped a string of 17 consecutive dual meet wins for the Shoremen, Their most recent loss had been a 135-126 defeat at Gettysburg on November 8th, 2014.
