Weiler, Elliott Pick Up Wins for Shoremen in Loss
SWARTHMORE, Pa. — Host Swarthmore College improved to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in Centennial Conference meets this season with a 174-88 win over visiting Washington College this afternoon in men's swimming action. The Shoremen dropped to 1-3 and 0-3 with the loss.

Shoremen Highlights
- Cody Weiler and Pat Elliott each won one individual event for the Shoremen. Weiler won the 100 freestyle in 48.71 and was also second in the 50 freestyle in 21.93. Elliott won the 500 freestyle in 4:55.61 and was second in the 200 freestyle in 1:48.81.
- Kevin Mackenzie and Ty Cummings each had two individual second-place finishes for the Shoremen. Mackenzie was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.78) and the 100 freestyle (48.88), while Cummings placed second in the 200 butterfly (2:03.31) and the 100 butterfly (54.36).
- Aidan Sullivan added a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke (55.51), while Teague Sauter was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.45).
- The third-place time of 4:56.45 turned in by Brendan Jones in the 500 freestyle made him the Shoremen's 10th-fastest swimmer ever in that event.
