LA MIRADA, Calif. — Host Biola University, an NAIA institution, defeated visiting Washington College, from NCAA's Division III, 7-2, in a men's tennis match today in La Mirada, Calif. The Eagles improved to 6-7 with the win, while the Shoremen fell to 1-5 with the loss.

Doubles (in order of finish)
- Lucas Lee and Luke Mountain, the NAIA's 10th-ranked doubles team (and third-ranked doubles teams in its West region), were pushed by Ryland Byrd and Justin Panepinto at No. 1 before pulling out a 9-8(3) win.
- Philip Westwood and Joe Turnquist won at No. 2 for Biola, turning away Matt Katz and Jeremy Novick, 8-1.
- The Shoremen won at No. 3 as Zack Novick and Luke Weaver were 8-4 winners against David Garcia and Michael Vartuli.
Singles (in order of finish)
- Lee, ranked 35th in the NAIA and 13th in his region, won a competitive match at No. 1 with his 7-6(5), 6-4, defeat of Byrd.
- Westwood, ranked 31st in the NAIA and ninth in his region, downed Panepinto, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 2.
- Mountain beat Jeremy Novick, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3.
- Zack Novick picked up Washington's singles win with a 7-6(12), 6-3, triumph over Turnquist at No. 4.
- Garcia, ranked 20th in his region, beat Weaver, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 5.
- Andrew Greenfield won at No. 6 for the Eagles, beating John Niswander, 6-2, 1-6, 10-3.
