#26 Blue Jays Best Shoremen, 9-0

BALTIMORE, Md.— Host Johns Hopkins, ranked 26th in Division III and sixth in the Atlantic South region, blanked visiting Washington College (ranked 20th in the region), 9-0, in a Centennial Conference men's tennis match today in Baltimore. The Blue Jays improved to 14-5 overall and conclude the conference regular season with an 8-1 league mark. The Shoremen finish their season 5-13 overall and 3-6 in conference matches.

Doubles
- Mike Buxbaum and Jeremy Dubin, ranked fifth in the region in doubles, beat Jeremy Novick and Ryland Byrd, 8-2, at No. 1.
- David Perez and Scott Thygesen downed Justin Panepinto and Luke Weaver, 8-1, at No. 2.
- The Shoremen were competitive at No. 3, but Colin Muraika and Jeff Mackenzie posted an 8-5 win over Jake Sandler and Zack Novick.  

Singles
- Buxbaum, ranked ninth in the region in singles, won a 6-3, 7-5, battle over Byrd at No. 1, while Perez pulled out a 6-3, 6-7(2), 10-8, win against Sandler at No. 3.
- Garcia rolled to a 6-0, 6-1, win against Panepinto at No. 3, while Justin Kang shut out Jeremy Novick, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4.
- Mackenzie added a 6-1, 6-4, win against Zack Novick at No. 5, while Nathan Law downed Weaver, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 6.
