Box Score Lewandowski Scores Game-Tying Goal in 70th Minute
LANCASTER, Pa. — Senior forward Chris Lewandowski (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) scored the game-tying goal in the 70th minute as visiting Washington College earned a hard-fought 1-1 double-overtime draw with nationally-ranked host Franklin & Marshall in a Centennial Conference men's soccer game tonight in Lancaster, Pa. The Diplomats entered the game ranked eighth in the nation by D3Soccer.com and sixth by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

How It Happened
- The first shot on goal of the game didn't come until the 35th minute when F&M's Zach Colton fired a long free kick into the hands of Washington goalkeeper Josh Samuels.
- In the 36th minute, the Shoremen got their first shot on goal as F&M goalkeeper Dave Reingold saved a shot by Brian Wilkinson.
- The Diplomats got on the board in the 39th as Robert Maze headed in a goal at 38:24 after an initial header by Wyatt Fabian went off the post.
- The Shoremen opened the second half with a shot on goal by Griffin Bull in the 47th that was saved by Reingold.
- The Shoremen evened the score when Dimitri Kaliakin sent a corner kick into Lewandowski, who headed the ball in at 69:47. That play was set up by a beautifully-placed long cross by Derek Stiles, which was headed by Brian Wilkinson and knocked out of bounds by a diving Reingold to set up the corner.
- The lone scoring chance in the first overtime belonged to F&M as Jason Tonelli rang a long shot off the post in the 94th minute.
- Kaliakin opened the second overtime by sending a free kick just over the crossbar in the 102nd minute.
- In the 105th minute, Jeremy Levine cleared a corner sent by Kaliakin off the F&M goal line.
- In the 106th minute, Samuels made a diving save on a shot by Cole Niggeman.
- Samuels tipped a shot over the crossbar sent byRyan Fincher in the 108th.
- Later in the 108th, Wilkinson had a shot on the run go just wide of the F&M goal.
For the Shoremen (3-4-1, 1-0-1 Centennial Conference)
- Scorers: Lewandowski (1 goal), Kaliakin (1 assist)
- Goalkeeper: Samuels (3 saves, 1 goal allowed, 90:00)
- The Shoremen had 11 shots and four corner kicks in the game and were whistled for 25 fouls.

- Goalkeeper: Dave Reingold (3 saves, 1 goal allowed, 90:00)
- The Diplomats recorded 14 shots and 13 corner kicks in the game and were called for 15 fouls.
Notes
- This is the first time ever the Shoremen have been undefeated two games into their Centennial Conference schedule.
- The tie breaks the Shoremen's five-game losing streak to the Diplomats. They previously played them to a 0-0 draw on September 25th, 2010.
