Box Score CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Visiting Franklin & Marshall built a 3-0 halftime lead en route to a 5-0 win over host Washington College in a Centennial Conference men's soccer game played tonight on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium.

How It Happened
- Cole Niggeman almost put the Diplomats ahead 10:16 into the contest, but his line drive shot from 35 yards out bounced off the crossbar.
- Franklin & Marshall grabbed a 1-0 lead with exactly 25:00 to go until halftime as Zach Colton converted a penalty kick.
- Griffin Bull almost tied the game at 1-1 with 20:10 to go until the half, but his shot from 10 yards away was saved by a fully extended Christopher Amoruso.
- The Diplomats pushed the lead to 2-0 as Stephen Sherbahn finished off a give and go with Ryan Fincher by heading home Fincher's end line cross.
- J.T. Mogan capped the first half by grabbing a loose ball and scoring with 1.8 seconds left to give the Diplomats a 3-0 lead at the halftime break.
- Evan Savoth had a header graze off the crossbar and go high in the 67th minute.
- The Diplomats added their fourth goal with 17:42 to go as Sherbahn headed home his second goal of the night, this time on a cross from Ben Draheim.
- Franklin & Marshall pushed the lead to 5-0 with 13:47 to play as Connor Whitacre finished off a corner kick assist from Jim Connolly.

- The Diplomats held a 24-4 advantage in shots and a six to three advantage in corners in the win.
