Four Players Score Nine Points Apiece For Washington

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Host Ursinus used an 11-0 run during the first half to take control of the contest on its way to a 95-65 win over visiting Washington College on Saturday afternoon in a Centennial Conference men's basketball game at Helfferich Hall.

How It Happened
- With the scored tied at 11-11 following a conventional three-point play by Washington's James Drury with 13:40 to go in the first half, Ursinus went on an 11-0 run to grab a 22-11 lead with 11:28 remaining in the half on a Shane Stark free throw. 
- After Alec Lewis cut the Bears lead to 44-27 with 1:46 left in the first half, Ursinus scored the final six points of the half to take its biggest lead of the half into the locker room of 23 points at 50-27.  Matt Knowles jumper with one tick left in the half closed out the first half scoring. 
- In the second half, Ursinus' lead fluctuated between 21 and 33 points as the hosts outscored the visitors by a 45-38 margin. 

For The Shoremen (6-15, 2-12 CC)
- Drury (nine points), Dallas Marshall (nine points and team-high seven rebounds), Lewis (nine points and game-high three steals), Josh Porteous (nine points).
- The Shoremen shot 37% (23-for-63) from the floor, 33% (7-for-21) from three-point range and 71% (12-for-17) from the foul line. 
- Washington had 19 turnovers in the contest. 

For Ursinus (13-8, 10-4 CC)
- Eric Williams Jr. (contest-high 19 points), Remi Janicot (12 points and game-high nine rebounds), Zach Quattro (13 points and eight boards), Shane Starks (15 points, 6-for-6 from the floor), Brian Rafferty (game-best eight assists), Zach Muredda (eight boards and four helpers).
- The Bears shot 60% (37-for-62) from the floor, 36% (8-for-22) from three-point range and 81% (13-for-16) from the free throw stripe. 
- Ursinus outscored Washington 40-31 in bench points and held a 24-11 advantage in points off of turnovers, scored all of the game's six transition points and had a 46-24 edge in points in the paint.
- The Bears had 14 turnovers in the game, while outrebounding the Shoremen, 36-31.

Notes
- Each team had 11 second chance points in the contest.
- Ursinus' Zach Quattro is the older brother of Shorewomen basketball player Cassidy Quattro.
- In two games this season versus Ursinus, Lewis had a total of seven steals including a career-high four in the January 10 meeting in Chestertown.
