CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Visiting Centre College, ranked 14th in the Atlantic South region, picked up a 9-0 non-conference women's tennis win over host Washington College, ranked eighth in the region, in a match begun outside at Schottland Tennis Center and moved indoors to the Johnson Fitness Center at sunset. The Colonels improved to 5-6 with the win, while the Shorewomen dropped to 3-2 with the loss.

Centre 9, Washington College 0

Doubles
- The Colonels took a quick 1-0 lead when Courtney DeLong and Abigail Kent completed an 8-1 win over Kiran Pant and Mariah Thomas at No. 3. Centre added a point at No. 1 doubles thanks to an 8-3 win by Neha Rao and Aliza Williams against Julie Lazer and Rachel Martinez at No. 1.
- The Colonels made it a clean sweep in doubles thanks to an 8-6 win by Emily Zelichenok and Zena Maddux against MP Hubert and Krista Filiopoulos at No. 2. 

Singles
- Kent bested Hubert, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 4 and Zelichenok downed Filiopoulos, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 3 to clinch the match for the Colonels. 

- Williams added a 6-4, 6-1, win against Martinez at No. 2 and Rao, ranked 16th in the region in singles, topped Lazer, 6-4, 7-5, at No. 1.
- DeLong downed Pant, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 5 and Maddux beat Thomas, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 6 to finish off the 9-0 win for Centre.
