Box Score Shorewomen to Play at Haverford in Wednesday's Centennial Tournament First-Round Match
CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The visiting Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team clinched the third seed in the upcoming Centennial Conference Tournament with a 6-3 win over host Washington College, who will be the tournament's fifth seed, in the regular-season finale for both teams this afternoon at Schottland Tennis Center. The Diplomats, ranked 11th in the Atlantic South region, improved to 12-4 overall and 8-2 in conference play with the win. The Shorewomen, ranked 15th in the region, dropped to 10-7 and 6-4.

Doubles
- The Shorewomen jumped out to a 1-0 lead as Julie Lazer and Rachel Martinez beat Allison Wolters and Nicole Russo, 8-1, at No. 1.
- F&M won the other two doubles spots by identical 8-4 counts, however. Sarah Haas and C.J. Rummelsburg beat Krista Filiopoulos and MP Hubert at No. 2, while Gavriel Rubenstein and Ally Breece topped Kiran Pant and Mariah Thomas at No. 3.
Singles
- Rummelsberg extended the F&M lead to 3-1 with a 6-2, 6-0, win by Rummelsberg over Hubert at No. 4.
- Lazer then beat Wolters, the region's 21st-ranked singles player, 6-0, 6-4, at No. 1 for Washington's second point.
- F&M's fourth point was a 6-1, 6-3, win by Russo over Martinez at No. 2. Washington got back to within one point thanks to a 6-2, 7-5, win by Filiopoulos over Haas at No. 3.
- F&M clinched the match with Rubenstein's 6-1, 6-1, win over Pant at No. 5. Collins provided the final margin with a 6-2, 6-1, win over Thomas at No. 6.
