Box Score Barclay Scores in Loss for Shoremen
CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The 11th-ranked Johns Hopkins University men's soccer team remained unbeaten with a 2-1 win Centennial Conference win over host Washington College this afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium.

How It Happened
- The Shoremen had the first two shots of the game as Griffin Bull sent a pair of early free kicks just over the crossbar. Hopkins followed with two early shots on goal that were saved by Washington goalkeeper Josh Samuels.
- The Blue Jays got on the board thanks to a penalty-kick goal by Mike Swiercz at the 23:08 mark.
- Hopkins finished the first half with nine total shots, including four on goal. Evan Savoth had the only other shot of the half for the Shoremen, heading a ball wide off a corner kick in the 29th minute.
- The second half saw considerably more action on the offensive ends. The Blue Jays tacked on their second goal on a nice give-and-go through the box as Achim Younker scored off an assist from Liam Moylan at 59:25.
- Aaron Barclay put the Shoremen on the board at 83:24 by scoring during a scramble in front of the goal following a corner kick.
