Box Score CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #16 Muhlenberg led 15-14 early in the second quarter before going on a 10-0 run to take control of the contest on its way to a 66-43 win over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon at the Cain Athletic Center in Centennial Conference women's basketball action. The Mules are now 18-1 overall and 13-1 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen fall to 5-14 and 3-11 respectively.

How It Happened
- Washington took an 8-7 lead with 5:25 to go in the first quarter on a three-pointer play Alexis Krahling before Muhlenberg scored eight of the next 10 points to take a 15-10 lead with 24 seconds left in the first on a jumper by Christina Manning. Caitlyn Clark closed out the quarter a jumper to beat the buzzer to trim the Mules' lead to 15-12 after one.
- Leading 15-14 with 9:02 left in the second quarter following Krahling layup, the Mules scored 10 straight points to take a 25-14 lead with 4:53 remaining in the second on a Sara Dilly jumper. Muhlenberg took a 33-23 lead into halftime.
- The Shorewomen came out strong in the third quarter scoring seven of the first nine points of third to trim the Mules' lead to 35-30 with 5:36 remaining on a layup by Cassidy Quattro. However, Muhlenberg answered with a 10-2 run to take a 45-32 lead with 1:06 to go on a Rachel Plotke free throw. The guests took a 45-34 lead into the fourth quarter.
- Muhlenberg scored the opening eight points of the fourth to take a 53-34 lead with 6:58 left on a Brandi Vallely jumper. The Mules would lead by as many as 25 at 63-38 with 2:32 left on a Vallely lay-in.
For The Shorewomen (5-14, 3-11 CC)
- Clark (nine points and squad-best three assists), Quattro (eight rebounds to lead team), Kristi Kozlowski (game-best two blocks), Emily Thiemann (team-high two steals).
- Washington shot 28% from the field (16-for-57), 33% from three-point range (3-for-9) and 53% from the foul line (8-for-15).
- Washington had 11 turnovers in the contest.
- The Shorewomen outscored the Mules off the bench by an 18-8 margin.
For Muhlenberg (18-1, 13-1 CC)
- Vallely (19 points and seven assists to lead all players and added eight rebounds), Plotke (12 points and two steals), Carley Hamilton (contest-best 13 boards), Sara Dilly (three steals to lead all participants).
- Muhlenberg shot 37% from the field (23-for-62), 38% from behind the arc (6-for-16) and 64% from foul line (14-for-22).
- The Mules totaled a 9-8 advantage in points off of turnovers, outscored the hosts 16-4 in second chance points and had a 26-10 edge in points in the paint. Muhlenberg outrebounded Washington, 51-35.
- The Mules had 11 turnovers.
