Win is Shoremen's 27th in Last 28 Meetings Against Sea Gulls
SALISBURY, Md. — Visiting Washington College continued its dominance of host and Eastern Shore rival Salisbury University in men's swimming as the Shoremen defeated the Sea Gulls, 123-80, tonight at Maggs Pool.

Shoremen Highlights
- The Shoremen won nine of 11 events against the Sea Gulls, beginning with a 1:52.18 winning time in the 200-meter medley relay turned in by Andrew Feeley, Teague Sauter, Aidan Sullivan, and Jake Brown.
- Johnson and Feeley also won two individual events each. Johnson won the 800-meter freestyle in 8:54.01 and the 100-meter freestyle in 54.41. Feeley won the 200-meter individual medley in 2:18.61 and the 100-meter backstroke in 1:00.61.
- Brendan Jones won the 400-meter freestyle in 4:21.99 and was second in the 200-meter freestyle in 1:59.98.
- Brown won the 50-meter freestyle in 24.00, Seth Wrigley won the 100-meter butterfly in 1:01.32, and Brett Edwards won the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:08.38.
- Joseph Bozzi placed second in the 200-meter individual medley in 2:21.65, while Aidan Sullivan took second in the 100-meter freestyle in 54.81.
Notes
- The Shoremen, who are now 27-2 all-time against the Sea Gulls and have won 27 of the past 28 meetings, improved to 1-3 on the season with the win. Salisbury fell to 1-3 with the loss.
- The Sea Gulls' home venue, Maggs Pool, features a 25-meter pool rather than the more usual 25-yard pool found at most NCAA schools.
- The Shoremen's Jake Brown is the identical twin of Salisbury junior swimmer Josh Brown. Jake's winning time in the 50 freestyle was 29 one-hundredths of a second faster than Josh's second-place time.
