CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The visiting Johns Hopkins University men's tennis team, currently ranked 23rd in Division III and seventh in the Atlantic South region, topped hosted Washington College, 9-0, in a Centennial Conference match today.

Doubles
- Joe Cartledge and Cody Kim were 8-3 winners over Justin Panepinto and Luke Weaver at No. 1.
- Alex Matisse and Vik Vasan followed with an 8-1 win at No. 2 against Koby Bonta and Andrew Smith.
- The Blue Jays completed the doubles sweep with a hard-fought 8-6 win at No. 3 by Charlie Humes and Matt Lurie over Jake Sandler and Mitchell Evans.   

Singles
- Cartledge downed Weaver, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2 to increase the lead to 4-0. Kim clinched the victory with his 6-2, 6-0, victory against Sandler at No. 1.
- Lurie defeated August Meriot, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 4, Simon downed Bonta, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 3, Vasan beat Panepinto, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 5, and Humes topped John Niswander, 8-2, at No. 6 to complete the scoring.

Notes
- The Blue Jays improved to 14-3 overall and 8-0 in conference matches with the win, while the Shoremen slipped to 7-7 and 5-3 with the loss.
