Box Score Heap Scores First Two Career Goals and Weiss Tallies Her First Career Score for Washington; Brandt Moves Into 10th Place Tie in All-Time Points
HAVERFORD, Pa. – Host Haverford got two goals and four assists from Roxy Vassighi and three goals from Dalia Bercow on its way to a 7-3 win over visiting Washington College in a Centennial Conference field hockey game on Thursday afternoon at Swan Field. The Fords, who scored three in the second and four in the third, improve to 7-6 overall and 1-5 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen drop to 3-9 and 2-5 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen struck 5:11 into the first quarter when Kyra Heap scored her first career goal on a one-timer off of a feed from Kailyn Brandt.
- Haverford tied the game at 1-1 just 2:06 in quarter two when Vassighi scored unassisted on a blast into the far left of the cage.
- In a 46-second span of the second quarter, the Fords scored twice to go ahead 3-1. Vassighi would assist on Haverford's next goal when she found Bercow off of a penalty corner and placed the shot into the left side to give the hosts a 2-1 lead 4:43 into the second and at the 5:29 mark of the quarter, Ravenel Davis gave the Fords a 3-1 advantage off of a pass from Caroline Aronowitz.
- Rylee Fennell tallied a goal 72 seconds into the third quarter from Vassighi as she tipped home the Vassighi hit off of a corner and 43 ticks later Bercow notched her second of the game with Vassighi earning the helper on a tip to push the lead to 5-1.
- Bercow got the hat trick when she scored from Vassighi 6:48 into the third. Vassighi then followed with her second on a shot from the top of the circle with 3:11 remaining in the third.
- Heap would get her second of the day with nine seconds remaining in the third with Grace Steele tallying the assist as she got around Haverford goalie Sunny Truslow and scored into an empty cage.
- In the fourth quarter, Kylie Weiss scored her first career goal with 4:01 left to round out the scoring with Brandt recording her second assist of the game.

Notes
- Brandt now has 55 career points on 23 goals and nine assists as she tied Carole Reece '90 and Kristen Wille '13 for 10th all-time in the history of the Shorewomen. Reece had 24 goals and seven assists, while Wille had 22 scores and 11 helpers.
