Graham, Edwards Record First-Place Finishes
LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington College men's swim team opened its 2019-20 season today at a non-conference tri-meet hosted by Washington and Lee. The Shoremen fell to the host Generals, 185-66, and to Centre College, 174-78.

Shoremen Highlights
- Jackson Graham had a solid collegiate debut for the Shoremen. His time of 53.58 was good for first against W&L and second against Centre. His 22.49 in the 50 freestyle was good for second against both opponents.
- Brett Edwards swam a 1:01.85 in the 100 breaststroke for first place against Centre. His 2:04.68 in the 200 individual medley was second against both teams.
- Andrew Feeley was second in both backstroke events against both teams. He swam a 54.31 in the 100 backstroke and a 1:57.30 in the 200 backstroke.
- Gage Mandrell, making his collegiate debut, was second in the 200 freestyle against both teams in 1:49.08 and second in the 200 breaststroke against Centre in 2:21.90.
- Nate Braddock was second in the 500 freestyle against W&L in 5:06.55, while Seth Wrigley was second in the 200 butterfly against Centre in 2:06.60.
Notes
- Washington and Lee, which also topped Centre today, improved to 3-0 this season. The Colonels are now 2-2.
