CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #6 Franklin & Marshall took advantage of three host Washington College fouls in the box for three penalty kick goals, with the first two coming in a span of 35 seconds early in the first half, in a 4-1 win on Saturday afternoon in a Centennial Conference men's soccer match at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium. The Diplomats are now 13-2-0 overall and 6-1-0 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen are 7-7-1 and 1-5-1 in the Centennial.

How It Happened
- Franklin & Marshall took advantage of two Washington College fouls in the box in a 35-second span of the first half to take a 2-0 lead off of a pair of penalty kicks from A.J. Kopacz. Kopacz scored his first one into the upper left corner at 3:42 and at 4:17 he put one in the lower left corner.
- The Diplomats made it 3-0 at the 7:46 mark when Alex Lalovic chipped in a shot from 12 yards out with Tyler Wagner notching the assist.
- Washington got onto the board at 25:19 as Del Jenkins found James Strine on a cross and Strine's shot crossed the line on the right side just before the F&M defender was able to clear the ball to trim the lead to 3-1.
- F&M drew another foul in the box with 10:15 remaining in the first half and Steven Yakita chipped in his penalty kick in the upper right corner to round out the scoring for the contest as the Diplomats took a 4-1 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, the Shoremen outshot the Diplomats 7-2, but neither side scored.
