Box Score Chestertown, Md. - Marco Grenda headed in the game-winning goal with just under five minutes remaining in the second overtime to give the visiting Ursinus Bears a 2-1 victory against the No. 24 ranked Washington College Shoremen on Saturday afternoon. The Shoremen fell to 7-3-0 (3-1-0) while the visitors improved to 6-4-0 (2-2-0).
How It Happened
- Grenda, who now had a league-leading 10 goals on the season, gave the visitors the lead as he scored an unassisted goal at the 21:30 mark following a corner kick.
- The Shoremen answered right back at 28:59 after junior midfielder Cole Gifford took a feed from junior defender Alex Coster and beat keeper Tyler Lewin with a hard shot just inside the far post
- Tommy Mollis set up the game-winner with a perfect cross into the center of the box and Grenda headed in the game-winner with just 4:58 remaining in the second overtime
