Box Score Daunoras Registers Match-High Eight Rejections
HAVERFORD, Pa. – Host Haverford hit .256 on its way to a 3-1 (25-18, 25-14, 23-25, 25-19) win over visiting Washington College in a Centennial Conference volleyball match on Wednesday night at Gooding '84 Arena. Haverford improves to 19-4 overall and 6-1 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen drop to 8-11 and 1-6 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Fords jumped out to a 9-3 lead in the first set following a kill by Taylor Jones. Haverford clinched the opening set on a kill by Kendall Otridge.
- Tied 5-5 in the second set, Haverford won five of the next six points to take a 10-6 lead following a bad set by the Shorewomen. Jones ended the second set with a kill as the Fords won the final five points of the second
- WC would win the final two points of the third set to pick up a two-point win. Courtney Maxwell put the Shorewomen ahead 24-23 on a kill and Jenna Daunoras ended the third with a kill of her own.
- The Fords won the last three points to win the fourth set and match with an attack error by Washington ending the contest.
For The Shorewomen (8-11, 1-6 CC)
- Jensyn Hartzell (15 assists), Lauren Zedlar (13 assists), Angelina Schaber (nine kills), Sylvia Johnson and Maxwell (nine digs), Jenna Daunoras (match-high eight blocks; two aces)
- Shorewomen had four service aces and 11 blocks in the match as they hit .132 as a team.
For Haverford (19-4, 6-1 CC)
- Sara Hunsberger (31 assists, match-high, and 11 digs), Dina Kosyagin (16 kills to lead all players), Otridge (14 kills), Jones (12 kills and hit .647), Abby Holland (12 kills), Juliet Young (20 digs), Gabrielle Fontanilla (12 assist)
- Haverford had five aces and four blocks in the win, while hitting .256.
