Box Score Eight Different Washington Players Score in Victory
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Washington College raced out to a 4-0 lead after the first quarter on its way to a 9-1 win over visiting Notre Dame (Md.) in a non-conference field hockey game on Wednesday evening on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The Shorewomen are now 4-1 on the season, while the Gators slip to 1-2.

How It Happened
- Kate Gromacki started the scoring 2:55 into the first quarter as she received a pass from Anna Harrington to put the Shorewomen ahead 1-0.
- Cristen Quillen made it 2-0 at the 8:14 mark as she scored on a loose ball near the right post.
- Emily Ulizio pushed the lead to three goals as she tipped in Harrington's feed with 2:39 to go in the first. (Watch)
- Alexis Tackney would cap the scoring with 42 seconds left as she finished off an Ellie Bossi crossing pass at the left post.
- The Shorewomen scored two goals in the second quarter to take a 6-0 lead into halftime.
- Vanessa Dunn got the Gators on the board with 2:27 left in the third quarter to trim the lead to 6-1.
- WC scored three times in the fourth quarter with Julianna Sterling scoring the final two goals of the game.
