CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting McDaniel outscored host Washington College 40-16 after halftime to come away with a 76-45 win Wednesday evening in Centennial Conference men's basketball action on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Green Terror improve to 6-7 overall and 2-6 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen drop to 3-11 and 0-7 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Green Terror, who never trailed in the game, went on an 11-4 run to take a 25-17 lead with 8:45 left in the first half on a tip-in by Josh Sproul.
- Precieux Tshibangu cut the McDaniel lead to 25-22 with 8:01 left in the first on a layup.
- McDaniel took its biggest lead of the first half of nine points at 32-23 with 5:11 left on a Josh Arruda jumper. The guests would take a 36-29 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, McDaniel led 43-34 before going on a 17-5 run to take a 60-39 on a traditional three-point play by Arruda. The Green Terror would lead by as many as 33, 76-43, in the final minute of the game.
For The Shoremen (3-11, 0-7 CC)
- Tray Wright (nine points and three assists), Kedrick Frink (five rebounds and three steals)
- The Shoremen shot 33% (17-for-51) from the floor, 31% (4-for-13) from three-point range, a season-best, and 58% (7-for-12) from the foul line.
- Washington had 13 turnovers in the game.
For McDaniel (6-7, 2-6 CC)
- Carter Truby (game-high 18 points), Sproul (13 points), Arruda (eight rebounds, five assists and three steals)
- The Green Terror shot 48% (28-for-58) from the floor, 47% (8-for-17) from three-point range and 71% (12-for-17) from the free throw stripe.
- McDaniel outscored WC in points in the paint (38-16), points off turnovers (18-11), transition points (6-4), second chance points (19-3) and bench points (23-17).
- The Green Terror had 16 turnovers in the contest and held a 49-20 edge in rebounds.
