Box Score Frink Scores 17 to Lead Shoremen and Corrao Nets 11 for Guests
LANCASTER, Pa. – Host Franklin & Marshall closed out the game on a 25-12 run over the final 9:11 to come away with a 69-55 win over visiting Washington College on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference men's basketball action at the Mayser Center. The Diplomats improve to 8-11 overall and 5-7 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen drop to 4-14 and 1-10 respectively.

How It Happened
- Franklin & Marshall led 16-13 with 9:25 remaining in the first half following a layup by Washington's Kedrick Frink before going on a 12-3 run to take a 28-16 lead with 3:56 left in the first half on a Sebastien Charles lay-in.
- Down 30-18, the Shoremen scored seven of the final 10 points of the first half to cut the Diplomats lead to 33-25 at halftime with Nick Romeo scoring the final five points of the stanza for WC.
- In the second half, the Shoremen trailed 38-27 before scoring nine straight points to cut the Diplomats' lead to 38-36 with 13:04 left on a Sam Corrao jumper.
- Frink would can a jumper with 9:11 left to trim the hosts' lead to 44-43 before the Diplomats scored 19 of the next 25 points to take control of the contest. Following a turnover by Washington, Omar Nichols began the run with a jumper with 8:08 to go to take a 46-43 lead. Riiny Giir would cap the stretch on a layup with 2:01 remaining to give F&M a 14-point lead at 63-49.
- Each team would score six points the rest of the way to provide the final margin.
For The Shoremen (4-14, 1-10 CC)
- Frink (team-best 17 points on 8-for-11 shooting), Corrao (11 points), Dilyn Becker (five rebounds)
- The Shoremen shot 42% (20-for-48) from the floor, 25% (2-for-8) from three-point range and 62% (13-for-21) from the foul line.
- Washington outscored F&M in bench points, 28-15.
- The Shoremen had 12 turnovers, leading to 17 F&M points.
For Franklin & Marshall (8-11, 5-7 CC)
- Solomon Mathis (game-best 20 points), John Seidman (contest-highs of nine assists and seven rebounds), Giir (two blocks)
- The Diplomats shot 53% (25-for-47) from the floor, 43% (6-for-14) from three-point range and 54% (13-for-24) from the free throw stripe.
- F&M held a 35-20 advantage on the glass, while outscoring WC in transition points, 6-5, and second-chance points, 9-2, and bench points, 22-15.
- The Diplomats had 16 turnovers in the contest, contributing to 11 Shoremen points.

- Each team scored 30 points in the paint in the contest.
