Freshman men's basketball player Grant Kemp (Madisonville, La./Archbishop Hannan) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Kemp averaged 10.7 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 3.3 assists per game and 1.7 steals per game in three games this past week, while shooting 61.1% from the floor.

Kemp set his career-high with 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting, 3-for-3 from three-point range and canned both of his free throws in Washington's 82-80 win at Goucher on Saturday for the team's first win of the season. The freshman also grabbed seven rebounds to lead the team in the victory. On Tuesday versus Bryn Athyn, he scored 13 points, going 4-for-4 from the field which were all on three-pointers, in just 10 minutes of action. In Thursday's contest at Neumann, he had four assists and four steals, which set his career-high.
