CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Ursinus won the final two events to turn a 117-109 lead into a 143-119 win in the home finale for host Washington College on Saturday afternoon at the Casey Swim Center in Centennial Conference men's swimming action. The Bears won the 200-yard individual medley and the 400-yard freestyle relay to capture the meet.

Shoremen Highlights

Gage Mandrell captured three events for the Shoremen in his final home meet as he took first in the 100-yard freestyle (47.44), the 200 freestyle (1:44.20) and the 200 backstroke (1:57.70).
- Winning one event apiece were
Zach Affeldt in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.88),
Justin Fitzpatrick in the 100 butterfly (53.17) and
Chase Hensen in the 100 breaststroke (58.84).
- The 200-medley relay team of
William Schmidt, Hensen, Fitzpatrick and
Bianti Danaj notched first place with a time of 1:37.84.
Notes
- The Bears are now 6-2 on the season and 3-2 in the conference, while the Shoremen are now 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the Centennial.
- Mandrell was named the Goose Nation TV Shoreman Swimmer of the Meet. The lone senior on the team, he was also honored by the squad prior to the meet.
