Diplomats Notch 169-90 Win over Shoremen

Mandrell Takes Top Spot in Three Events

LANCASTER, Pa. – Host Franklin & Marshall bested visiting Washington College, 169-90, at McGinness Pool in Centennial Conference men's swimming action on Saturday afternoon.  It was the regular season finale for the Shoremen.

Shoremen Highlights
- Gage Mandrell won all three races for WC on the afternoon.  He grabbed top spot in the 100 breaststroke (59.24), the 200 backstroke (1:53.93) and the 200 individual medley (1:58.45).
- Chase Hensen was just .18 off the time of the Diplomats' Patrick Rooney in the 200 breaststroke as Rooney won it in 2:10.08.  Hensen's time was 2:10.26 as he was second in the event.

Notes
- The Diplomats are 8-1 overall and 5-1 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen finish their dual meet season at 3-5 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
