Lexie Witmer (Drexel Hill, Pa./Upper Darby) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Witmer had four multi-hit games this past week in doubleheaders against Marymount and Notre Dame (Md).
Witmer hit .692 (9-for-13) with three doubles, five RBI, .714 on-base percentage and a .923 slugging percentage in four games for the Shorewomen. In the team's 9-6 win over Notre Dame (Md.) in game two on Saturday, she went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double as her two-run double gave WC an 8-4 lead. In game one versus Notre Dame (Md.), she went 2-for-3 with a run scored in a five-inning 8-0 win. In the season opener on Wednesday at Marymount in game two, she went 2-for-3 with two RBI a double and a walk as both of her hits plated a run. In the opener, she went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
This is Witmer's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
