St. Mary's City, MD – The Washington College Sailing Team travelled to The War Memorial Regatta in St. Mary's City and sailed Saturday and Sunday mornings. The highlight of the day for the team was the sixth-place finish by the A division in their 13th race.  
 
War Memorial 

• Washington College placed sixth with Joseph Bonacci and Lucy Sunderland in the A division and division B included Austin Latimer and Nora Ciak. The team had a final score of 551 total points with the A division collecting 276 and the B division collecting 290 points.  
• The Shoremen and Shorewomen finished sixteenth in the A division and seventeenth in division B. 
• Bonacci and Sunderland landed a sixth-place finish in their 13th sail. They accredited their best finish to a good start and first upwind leg. 
• The first-place team, host St. Mary's College of Maryland, ended the day with 156 total points.
