Senior men's basketball player Precieux Tshibangu (Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo/Springdale Prepatory [Md.]) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Tshibangu had double figures in a pair of games and led the team in rebounds in a 3-0 week for the Shoremen.  

In the Shoremen's 61-47 win over Bryn Athyn on Saturday to cap the 3-0 week, he just missed a double-double with 12 points and a game-best nine rebounds to go along with two blocks as the team won its third straight game for the first time since the 2019-20 season. On Thursday, the senior had 12 points and tied for team-high in rebounds with six in addition to swatting away two shots as Washington topped Valley Forge 67-58. In WC's 65-44 triumph versus Gallaudet on Tuesday, Tshibangu had seven rebounds to match tops in the contest and recorded two steals.

This is Tshibangu's first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
