Lilly Cook (Linthicum, Md./Glen Burnie) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Cook reached base in all six games she played in down in Florida this past week.
Cook hit .467 (7-for-15), notched a .529 on-base percentage and a .667 slugging percentage for an on-base plus suggling percentage (OPS) of 1.196.. The junior went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs scored, two steals, a double and an RBI in a 12-0 five-inning win over St. Joseph's (Me.) on Tuesday night. In a 13-1 win on Thursday night against Rutgers-Newark in five innings, Cook went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a double and a run score. She tallied two RBI and had a double in the team's 6-3 victory over Hood on Friday in the final game of the trip. .
This is Cook's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
