Box Score EWING, N.J. – Host #19 The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) topped visiting Washington College, 7-2, on Sunday afternoon at the TCNJ Tennis Complex.

Doubles
- The 19th ranked Lions won two of the three matches in doubles. No. 3 doubles was the first to finish as TCNJ's Aayush Kishore and Asa Wong downed WC's
Jorge Urgal Zuleta and
Tichi Chialva, 8-0. The top flight finished next with the Shoremen's
Karl Hoegstedt and
Aaradith Ravichandran coming away with an 8-4 victory of the Lions'
Harrison Maitland-Carter and
Matthew Michibata, ranked 15th nationally and fifth in the Northeast Region.
TCNJ would capture doubles courtesy of the No. 2 duo of
Alberto Thomas and
Brett Schuster taking an 8-7 (7-4) win over Washington's
Ryohei Kawai and
Kohl Perkins.
Singles
- Hoegstedt was leading 3-0 in the first set at No. 1 singles against Michibata, ranked 13th national and third in the region, when Michibata retired to allow Hoegstedt to get the win and tie the match at 2-2.
- Schuster won by a pair of 6-0 scores at No. 6 singles for TCNJ against Urgal Zuleta to make it 3-2 for the home side.
- Thomas took care of Ravichandran, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles for the home side.

Adrian Tsui clinched the win for TCNJ at No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Kawai.
- Maitland-Carter topped
Johannes Ludwigstorff 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5 singles in the second to last match to end.
- Kishore got the better of Perkins at No. 3 in the last contest to finish, 6-1, 6-3.
Notes
- The #19 Lions, ranked fifth in the Northeast Regional Rankings, are now 11-0 on the season, while the Shoremen fall to 4-6.
