ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Washington College men's swim team captured 11 out of 14 events to extend its winning streak to 16 consecutive meets over host Elizabethtown on Saturday afternoon in a 165-93 victory inside Alumni Pool in non-conference men's swimming action in the team's first meet in the 2025 portion of its schedule.

Nathan Rawa and
William Schmidt captured two victories each for the Shoremen in the win. Affeldt won the 100-yard freestyle (51.00) and 200 breaststroke (2:17.54), Rawa took top spot in the 50 freestyle (21.69) and 400 individual medley (4:31.79) and Schmidt captured the 100 backstroke (54.81) and 200 backstroke (2:05.02).

Patrick Downes took first in the 1000 freestyle (10:59.72).

James Hackett nabbed the 200 freestyle in 1:49.66.

Chase Hensen secured first in the 100 breaststroke (58.71).
- The Shoremen won both relays on the afternoon. The 400 medley relay team of
Gabe Summa, Hensen, Rawa and Hackett earned first with a time of 3:35.17, while the 400 freestyle relay side of Schmidt, Hensen, Lee and Hackett were the fastest in a time of 3:17.85.
Notes
- The Shoremen are now 6-5 overall, while the Blue Jays slip to 4-4 overall.
- Washington now leads the all-time series 23-3 with the 16-meet winning streak beginning with a 129-42 triumph in the 2002-03 season.
