Washington College Sailing Places Fourth In Tom Noble Team Race

Chestertown, MD – The Washington College Sailing Team hosted the Tom Noble Team Race ths weekend. The Team competed against seven other teams and placed fourth.  

Tom Noble Team Race  

  • The Skippers for the two days of contest were Austin Latimer, Joseph Bonacci and Imogene Nuss. Nora Ciak, Lucy Sunderland, and Rachel Morgen served as the Crews for Washington College Sailing. 
  • The Shoremen and Shorewomen won four of their seven races for the weekend.  
  • They took down Penn State, University of Delaware, US. Merchant Marine Academy and Drexel.  
  • They fell to Virginia Tech, Hampton University, and SUNY Maritime College.  
  • Hampton University won all seven of their races to take home the title of first place. SUNY Maritime and Virginia Tech took home the second and third place titles with five wins.  
Up Next  
Washington College Shorewomen Sailing will travel to Hampton, VA to compete in the Christopher Newport Women's Sailing Race. They will compete on March 8th and 9th.
