ANNAPOLIS, Md. and ORIENTAL, N.C. – The Washington College sailing team traveled to a pair of regattas this weekend. The team traveled to the MAISA Spring Women's Fleet Championship hosted by Navy and finished 15th out of 15 teams and to the Sailpack Oriental Intercollegiate Regatta hosted by North Carolina State University, finishing 12th out of 20 squads.
MAISA Spring Women's Fleet Championship
- Serving in the A Division was freshman
Imogene Nuss at skipper and junior
Rachel Morgen at crew and had 187 points for a 13th place finish. In the B Division, sophomore
Nora Ciak was the skipper and junior
Nora Beebe (races 1-8) was the crew. The duo had 223 points for a 15th place finish.

- Georgetown won the overall regatta with 112 points with a first-place finish in the B Division (54) second-place place finish in the A Division (58). Host Navy beat Georgetown on a tiebreaker to win the A Division with 58 points and Cornell was second in the B Division at 56 points.Â
- Saturday had a breeze of 7-15 knots from the southwest, while Sunday was from the south at 10 knots with gusts up to 20.

- In the A Division for WC was senior
Joseph Bonacci at skipper and sophomore
George Wood at crew and totaled 105 points for a 12th place finish. In the B Division, sophomore
Austin Latimer was the skipper and freshman
Ethan Rower served as the crew. The tandem had 119 points for a 15th place finish.

- Christopher Newport won the overall regatta with 63 points with a first-place finish in the B Division (26) on a tiebreaker over host North Carolina State. San Diego State won the A division with 26 points, 11 better than Christopher Newport, who had 37 points. Eckerd placed second with 72 points, beating out Jacksonville on a tiebreak.
