Junior softball player Gracelyn Goforth (King, N.C./West Stokes) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Goforth delivered the game-winning hit in Saturday's 5-3 win over visiting Franklin & Marshall that clinched a doubleheader sweep and a spot in the Centennial Conference Tournament for the third straight year.

Trailing 2-1 with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning of game two, Goforth socked a bases clearing triple down the right field line to score teammates Lilly Wenzel, Nevaeh Unzueta and Lilly Cook to give the Shorewomen a 4-2 lead and cap the four-run frame in the team's two-run victory. She went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the game two win.

This is Goforth's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
