From Head Coach Alex Calder-Butler
"We are all very excited for the start to season and to have the team back on campus. We have a competitive schedule this year and are looking to increase our NPI ranking and conference standing. We have a strong senior class returning and strong leadership within the program, and I am looking forward to welcoming our new assistant coach, Kaiya Sabur, to the program. Coming off of a strong spring season, the team has set high standards and goals for themselves and I am excited to get to work to accomplish them. This year I want to encourage our team to be reminded of their "why" and what drives them each day as Washington College Field Hockey players. I can't wait to get started!"

Key games:
Back-to- back home games by the Shorewomen on August 29th and September 3rd will be followed by a trip to previously ranked Shenandoah on September 6th, The Shorewomen open up their conference stint with a road game against Gettysburg on Saturday, September 27 and are home against Bryn Mawr on Tuesday, September 30th.
