Princeton, NJ – The Women of the Washington College Sailing Team traveled to the Tiger Women's Open to compete against seven other all women teams. The team finished third of eight and were 24 points out of second place.
Tiger Women's Open
- Saturday proved to be a beautiful day for the Tiger Women's Open at the glorious Anchor Yacht Club. With winds hovering around ten knots with gusts of 18 and temperatures in the low 70's, the men of the Princeton Sailing Team, newly charged with the weighty office of Race Committee, set out intent on accomplishing two objectives: first, to administer a competition worthy of their team's reputation for organization; and second, to keep the regatta contained to a single day as an act of mercy to several of the further-flung teams.
- The Shorewomen finished the regatta with 67 points. The A Division sailors earned 30 points with a first-place finish in race eight and two third place races. The B Division sailors earned 37 points with three third place races in races one, four, and seven.
- For Division A, Imogene Nuss served as skipper with Abby Wyman and Olivia Hall splitting the duties at crew. For Division B, Rachel Morgen served as skipper with Nora Ciak and Soledad Fintel splitting crew.
