Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Athletics Department, in partnership with the Baltimore Ravens, is hosting a first-ever Girl's Flag Football Skills clinic on Saturday, May 9th at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium on the Washington College campus. The clinic begins promptly at 8:30 AM and runs through 11:30 AM.

The flag football clinic is open to all girls ages 12-18 and who are currently students at a public or private school in one of the Eastern Shore counties. Girl's Varsity Flag Football is expanding rapidly nationwide and the Baltimore Ravens and Washington College are building awareness of these programs at this clinic.

Those interested in participating should, if possible, register prior to the event, and plan to arrive at Kibler Field before 8 AM to check-in or register. A parent or guardian signature is required for registration. Washington College Athletics will also host a lunch for players which is included in registration.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of flag football, including passing, catching, route running, and defensive techniques, in a fun and supportive environment over the three (3) hour clinic. All participants will also get the chance to meet and interact with fan-favorite mascots Poe the Raven and Gus the Goose!
