CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Two Washington College men's rowers have earned All-Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) honors. Freshman
Grayson Bishop (Knoxville, Tenn./L N Stern Academy) was named to the second team and freshman
Whitman Stout (Millsboro, Del./Sussex Academy) was selected All-Novice.
Bishop is an All-MARC selection for the first time.
Shoremen Rowing has had 33 All-MARC selections and 17 All-Novice picks since the start of the conference in 2008-09.
Two members of the squad were named to the MARC All-Academic Team, senior
Andrew Ellestad (Damascus, Md./Damascus) and junior
Mary Clymer (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton). To be named to the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5, be at least in their second year of eligibility and competed in 75% of varsity competitions or competed in the MARC Championships.
