GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Host Gettysburg College scored the only goal of the game in the 97th minute as the Bullets topped visiting Washington College, 1-0, in overtime in the Centennial Conference men's soccer opener for both schools tonight on Clark Field.

How It Happened
- Gettysburg recorded the first shot on goal of the game, in the fourth minute, but Washington goalkeeper Josh Samuels made a diving save on the attempt by Previous Ozoh.
- Obi Ikoro had the Bullets' second shot on goal at the end of the 19th minute, but it was played off the line by a Shoremen defender.
- Liam Mansfield headed the Shoremen's first shot on goal of the game off a corner kick in the 34th minute, but Gettysburg goalkeeper Dillon Konzelmann made the stop.
- The Bullets held a 10-3 advantage in total shots in the first half.
- Gettysburg took the only six shots of the second half, but all six were off target, concluding with a shot by Eddie Acosta that went wide in the 90th minute.
- Nikki DiSimplico had a shot blocked for the Bullets in the 94th minute, the only shot of overtime prior to the game-winner.
- Ozoh sent a cross from the left of the goal to Connor Fife, who knocked in the game-winner at 96:31.
