Box Score Team Wins 40 of 42 Games Played
WESTMINSTER, Md. – Visiting Washington College improved to 2-0 in Centennial Conference play with a 6-3 win over host McDaniel on Saturday afternoon at the Warfield Tennis Courts in women's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Shorewomen won at No. 2 doubles as Piper Sartison and Bin Nguyen prevailed 8-0 over the duo of Claire Hopkins and Kassidee Wright.
- No. 1 doubles went the way of Washington as Irene Meng and Alisha White came away with an 8-1 win over Liz Fyfe and Chandra Reiff.
- McDaniel's tandem of Deja Hitch and Lizzy Hough were awarded victory at No. 3 doubles as Washington was unable to field a team.
Singles
- The Shorewomen won 24 of 25 games in singles as Meng won, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles over Fyfe, Sartison prevailed, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 2 singles over Hopkins and Nguyen triumphed, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles over Hough.
- White won her match in straight sets at No. 3 singles over Hitch, 6-0, 6-1, at Washington won all four of its singles matches in straight sets.
- Washington was unable to field a player at No. 5 and 6 singles and Reiff was credited with the victory for the Green Terror at No. 5 singles and Wright was awarded the win at No. 6 singles for McDaniel.

- The Shorewomen are 3-1 on the season, while the Green Terror are 0-1. WC is 2-0 in the conference, while McDaniel is 0-1 in the Centennial.
- WC won 40 of 42 games played on the afternoon.
