LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior midfielder
MaryCate Anson (Newark, Del./Newark Charter) landed All-Centennial Conference second team honors in a vote conducted by the conference's 11 head coaches. Anson earned All-Centennial recognition for the third consecutive campaign, being named to the second team in 2023 and 2025 and tabbed honorable mention in 2024.
Anson, who played and started in all 18 games this fall, led Washington College in goals (9), assists (7) and points (25). Through the end of the conference tournament, she ranks tied for tied for sixth in the Centennial in assists and points and tied for seventh in scores. In 71 career games, 70 starts, Anson has 17 goals and 17 assists for 51 points. Five of the 17 goals are of the game-winning variety. Her 17 all-time helpers place her tied for seventh in team history. Anson is the 14th player in the history of Shorewomen Field Hockey to earn All-CC recognition on at least three occasions.

The Centennial Conference also announced its All-Sportsmanship Team for field hockey today and junior midfielder
Natalie Watkinson (Princess Anne, Md./Washington) was the Shorewomen's representative on the team. Each Centennial Conference member institution was permitted to nominate one student-athlete who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship for the All-Sportsmanship Team. Nominations were submitted by the head coaches. This is the first time Watkinson has been named to the team.

Alex Calder-Butler, the Shorewomen have had five All-Centennial selections, one first team, two second team and two honorable mention honorees.
