LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rising senior defenseman
Brian Blanche (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./La Salle College) has been named to the 2026 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III All-America Team in men's lacrosse, released today. Blanche was selected honorable mention by the association.
This is the second All-America team he has been named to this spring as last week he landed honorable mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine.
Blanche started in all 18 contests for the Shoremen as a junior this this season, leading the team with 23 caused turnovers and was second in ground balls with 55. The rising senior also added a goal in a 10-9 extra session victory versus Stockton on March 18 and an assist in a 21-5 win against Berry on March 10. He had four games of five or more ground balls including picking up six to tie a personal-best in a 14-9 win at Franklin & Marshall on March 28 and chalked up a career-topping five caused turnovers versus #11 St. John Fisher on March 14. In 35 all-time games, 34 starts, Blanche has 92 ground balls, 46 caused turnovers, three goals and four assists for seven points.
He is the first USILA All-American from Washington College since
Michael Trapp '15 was honorable mention in 2015.
