Box Score Jones Scores Team-Best 10 Points; Quattro Pulls Down Nine Rebounds to Lead All Players
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting McDaniel outscored host Washington College 42-21 in the second half to turn a 21-15 deficit into a 57-42 win on Wednesday evening at the Cain Athletic Center in Centennial Conference women's basketball action. The Green Terror are now 5-8 overall and 2-7 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen fall to 6-9 and 3-7 respectively.

How It Happened
- The first quarter saw the biggest lead at just three points after Anna Mondoro made a three-pointer to open up the scoring 1:51 into the game at 3-0 for the Green Terror. The two teams were tied 13-13 after one.
- Washington scored the first six points of the second quarter to lead 19-13 with 4:29 left on a Bridget McLaughlin jumper. The Shorewomen would take a 21-15 lead into halftime as they held the Green Terror without a field goal in the second quarter.
- McDaniel trailed 25-20 in the third quarter following two free throws by Washington's Cassidy Quattro before going on a 12-0 run to take a 32-25 lead with 1:16 remaining on a Liv Storer bucket. The Green Terror would take a 32-26 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
- McDaniel led 39-31 with 5:41 to go in the game following a Mallory Conroy layup before Washington went on a 7-0 run to trim the lead to 39-38 with 3:49 remaining on two Crystal Jones free throws.
- However the Green Terror would answer with 12 of the next 13 points to take a 51-39 lead with 47 seconds left on a pair of Ellie Connelly free throws to take control of the contest.
For The Shorewomen (6-9, 3-7 CC)
- Jones (10 points to lead team and three steals), Quattro (game-high nine rebounds), Caitlyn Clark (three steals)
- Washington shot 28% from the field (15-for-53), 15% from three-point range (2-for-13) and 53% from the foul line (10-for-19)
- Washington had 18 turnovers in the contest.
- The Shorewomen outscored the Green Terror in second-chance points (13-7), points in the paint (16-10) and points off turnovers (20-15).
For McDaniel (5-8, 2-7 CC)
- Mondoro (14 points), Conroy (13 points and six rebounds), Josey Klingenberg (seven steals and three assists), Hannah Zajac (six boards)
- McDaniel shot 35% from the field (15-for-43), 33% from behind the arc (4-for-12) and 82% from foul line (23-for-28).
- McDaniel held a 19-11 advantage in bench points and had the only two transition points in the game.
- The Green Terror had 21 turnovers in the win.
