Del Rosario Saves Season-Best 16 Shots and Domenech Scores Twice for WC

CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #16 Franklin & Marshall outscored host Washington College 8-1 in the second half to tally a 12-5 win in Centennial Conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium.  The Diplomats improve to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen are now 2-3 and 1-2 respectively.

How It Happened
- Brady McFalls scored the opening goal of the game for Washington with 11:07 left in the first quarter on a feed from Luke Brennan.  F&M would score the last two goals of the first to lead 2-1 after one as A.J. Rigsby scored from Luke Keating with 9:17 left in the first just 64 seconds after Keating tied it at 1-1.
- Franklin & Marshall would score the opening goal of the second quarter to lead 3-1 on an Andrew Towne goal from Blake Target with 13:17 left in the second.
- Washington scored three of the final four goals of the second quarter to tie it 4-4 at halftime.  Kain Domenech trimmed the lead to 4-3 with 2:16 left for his second goal of the quarter and 57 ticks later Keen Griffin tied it on a man-up goal from Sean Reilly.
- The Diplomats took the lead for good 29 seconds into the third quarter on a man-up goal from Rigsby with Keating getting the helper.  The goal ignited a 5-0 third for the visitors as they led 9-4 after three.  Target capped the scoring with 2:34 left in the third from Rigsby.
- In the fourth, Franklin & Marshall held a 3-1 advantage to provide the final margin.  WC's goal in the fourth was scored by Reilly on a man-up from Joe Maimone.

For The Shoremen (2-3, 1-2 CC)
- Scoring: Domenech (two goals), Reilly (goal and assist)
- In Goal: Chris Del Rosario (60:00, 12 goals allowed, season-best 16 saves)
- Kyle Gittelman (four ground balls), TC White (two caused turnovers)
- Washington was 23-for-25 in clears in the contest and 2-for-3 in man-up situations.
- Washington had 19 turnovers, while causing four Franklin & Marshall turnovers.

For #16 Franklin & Marshall (4-0, 3-0 CC)
- Scoring: Rigsby (five goals and two assists), Keating (three goals and four helpers), Target (three goals and one assist)
- In Goal: Eric Mueller (60:00, five goals allowed, nine saves)  
- Jack Beatty (11-for-14 at the X and six ground balls)
- The Diplomats were 22-for-23 in clears, 1-for-1 in man-up situations and turned it over 16 times, while notching seven caused turnovers.
- Franklin & Marshall held a 50-30 advantage in shots and held a 33-22 edge in ground balls.
- The guests went 13-for-20 at the X for the contest.

- Domenech was named Goose Nation TV Shoremen Player of the Game.
