Highlights
HAVERFORD, Pa. – Host Haverford scored the game's first 16 points and never trailed on its way to a 65-39 win over visiting Washington College on Thursday night at Gooding Arena in Centennial Conference women's basketball action. The Fords are now 14-5 overall and 10-4 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen are now 11-6 and 7-5 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Fords capped their game-opening 16-0 run on a three-pointer by Gia Flamini with 5:00 left in the first quarter.
- Andrea Prestianne got the Shorewomen on the board on a layup with 4:48 to go as Washington outscored Haverford 9-6 the rest of the first to cut the Fords lead to 22-9 after one.
- In the second quarter, Joy Sanders canned a three-pointer from the right corner to cut the Haverford lead to 25-16 with 4:51 left before Haverford closed out the second on a 10-2 run to take a 35-18 lead into halftime. Caroline Andersen drained a jumper with four ticks left to close out the scoring.
- Haverford outscored WC 18-12 in the third quarter, scoring the final five points, to take a 53-30 lead into the fourth quarter as Eleanor Alix drained a triple with eight seconds left to cap the scoring.
- The hosts edged the Shorewomen 12-9 in the fourth to provide the final margin.
For The Shorewomen (11-6, 7-5 CC)
- Serena Pluta (11 points and game-best 11 rebounds for first all-time double-double), Kaleigh White (two blocks)
- WC shot 24% from the floor (16-for-66), 13% from three-point range (3-for-23) and 50% (4-for-8) from the foul line in the game.
- The Shorewomen turned it over nine times.
- WC outscored Haverford in points in the paint, 22-18, points off turnovers, 12-10, and transition points, 6-0.
