Junior women's basketball player Serena Pluta (Townsend, Del./St. Mark's) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Pluta nearly chalked up a double-double in just 21 minutes of action in the Shorewomen's game at Haverford last Tuesday night.

Pluta scored 11 points and added nine rebounds, six of them coming on the offensive glass. The junior scored six of her 11 points in the fourth quarter as Washington College almost erased a 14-point deficit entering the stanza.

This is Pluta's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
