Box Score Ivatts and McFalls Net Two for Washington; Morgan Hands Out Two for WC
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Host Ursinus jumped out to a 5-0 lead after one quarter en route to a 17-5 win over visiting Washington College in Centennial Conference men's lacrosse action on Wednesday night at Patterson Field. The Bears are 4-4 overall and 1-0 in the conference, while the Shoremen are 1-6 and 0-2 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Bears scored twice in the first 58 seconds to grab a quick 2-0 lead. Tyler Neal scored seven seconds in from Brian Yee and 51 ticks later Joshua Toth scored from Ryan Dever.
- Tommy Reinhart scored unassisted with 2:58 left to cap the five-goal first for Ursinus.
- The Shoremen got onto the board with 12:51 left in the second quarter when Logan Clefisch scored unassisted. WC would get it within 5-2 with 9:43 to go when Trevor Ivatts scored from Cory Morgan.
- Ursinus would close out the second with three straight to take an 8-2 lead into halftime. Jeremy Calabro would give the Bears a six-goal lead into halftime with 3:26 to go on an unassisted score.
- Ursinus would outscore Washington 3-2 in the third quarter and 6-1 in the fourth to provide the final margin.
For The Shoremen (1-6, 0-2 CC)
- Scoring: Ivatts and Brady McFalls (two goals), Morgan (two assists)
- In Goal: Ryan Leahy (21:27, seven goals allowed, four saves), Robert Eiganrauch (38:33, 10 goals allowed, five saves)
- Tyler Bishop (six ground balls to tie for game-high and career-best), TC White (three caused turnovers to tie for contest-best)
- Washington had 19 turnovers, caused five Ursinus turnovers and went 0-for-5 on the man-up.
- The Shoremen were 18-for-24 in clears.
For Ursinus (4-4, 1-0 CC)
- Scoring: Neal (four goals and one assist), Erik Ojert (three goals and two assists), Calabro and Tyler Falco (two goals), Riley Yee (two assists), Reinhart (goal and assist)
- In Goal: Jonathan Singer (60:00, five goals allowed, 10 saves)
- Yee (13 face-off wins), Joshua Grahame (six ground balls to tie for contest-high) and Chase Rondreau (three caused turnovers to tie for game-best)
- Ursinus held a 52-32 advantage in shots and 40-30 in ground balls.
- The Bears were 22-for-23 in clears, 0-for-4 in man-up situations and turned it over 15 times, while notching six caused turnovers.
