Box Score Temple Tallies Career-Highs of Four Assists and Nine Points; Ties Personal-Best with Five Scores
WESTMINSTER, Md. – Visiting Washington College raced out to an 8-1 lead and never trailed on its way to a 14-9 win over host McDaniel in Centennial Conference men's lacrosse action on Wednesday night at Gill Stadium as WC senior attackman Ewan Temple (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) tied his career-best with five goals and set personal-highs with four assists and nine points. The Shoremen, who have won three in a row, improve to 4-8 on the season and 3-3 in the conference opener, while the Green Terror slip to 4-11 overall and 0-6 in the conference.

How It Happened
- Temple scored three of Washington's first four goals in the first 7:17 of the game to give the Shoremen a 4-0 lead. Mac Hale assisted on the first three scores by WC.
- McDaniel would cut it to 4-1 with 1:38 left in the first quarter as Dom Calderoni scored and Nick DeLoriers notching the helper and that was the score after one.
- The Shoremen scored the first four goals of the second quarter to take an 8-1 lead on Temple's fifth of the game with 5:44 left on a pass from Caden Hallinan.
- Calderoni scored from DeLoriers with 1:41 left in the second as the Green Terror scored the last three of the second to reduce the deficit to 8-4 at halftime.
- The Green Terror scored two of the first three goals of the third to cut the Shoremen's lead to 9-6 with 3:13 left on a Calderoni tally from Jason Fritz.
- Ben Dickinson would answer with two straight to close out the third for Washington as the guests took an 11-6 lead heading into the fourth.
- Each team scored three times in the fourth to provide the final margin.

- Washington extended its winning streak over McDaniel to 22 straight games and has now won 47 games all-time versus McDaniel, the most against any one opponent.
