Men's Lax Falls to No. 1 Ranked Salisbury in 'War on the Shore'

McFalls Records Hat-Trick

Salisbury, Md. – The Washington College men's lacrosse team dropped a 22-8 decision against the No. 1 ranked Salisbury Sea Gulls, in the 2022 "War on the Shore," Saturday afternoon at Sea Gull Stadium. The Shoremen fall to 1-8 while the Sea Gulls improve to 12-0.

How It Happened
- The hosts scored just forty-two seconds into the game on a tally by grad student Cross Ferrara (game-high 6 goals) and never looked back. Senior midfielder Jarrett Bromwell found the back of the next twice and assisted on two other markers in the stanza.
- Salisbury led 8-0 after the opening quarter before junior defender Jack Winters put the Shoremen on the board two minutes into the second quarter with his first career tally.
- Winters found freshman attackman Ben Dickinson for Washington's second goal with 9:27 remaining and junior attackman Brady McFalls scored a man-up goal just before the half as the hosts led 14-3. Junior attackman Logan Clefisch was credited with the assist.
- Dickinson scored for the second time to open the third quarter but Salisbury scored four consecutive times to widen their lead to 18-4 to end the third quarter. Senior attackman Logan Posner scored twice during the stretch.
