Freshman women's basketball player Kaitlyn Boggs (Lindwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Boggs registered her first career-double and scored the go ahead basket in the Shorewomen's 63-60 win over visiting Swarthmore last Thursday.

Boggs scored 12 points, tying her personal-best and grabbed a game-best 11 rebounds, to set her career-high, as Washington erased an 18-point third quarter deficit, 47-29. Tied at 58-58, she converted a layup to put the Shorewomen ahead for good at 60-58. She also rejected to Swarthmore shots in the victory. Last Tuesday at Bryn Mawr, she grabbed six rebounds in a 47-25 victory at Bryn Mawr and on Saturday against visiting Muhlenberg, Boggs had nine points and five rebounds.

This is Boggs' first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
